It mixes heads-up, cash, small (8 player), and large (80 player) tournament play well enough to help you procrastinate and (astonishingly) develop some useful poker skills. The AI is decent - not impressively smart, but overtly stupid, either. On the whole, I didn't really notice trends or styles particularly to AI opponents, but their play was varied enough to keep you on your toes and make the challenge feel relatively real. They bluff, slow-play, etc. Real tournament players would probably be a touch more conservative, but the AI was skilled enough to make winning the bigger tournaments genuinely difficult.I struggled a bit at first, but gradually became smarter about playing conservatively early in tournaments, then opening up the throttle once I'd secured a spot in the money. I also became much better at learning how and when to effectively bully opponents with shorter stacks. Let's be honest, a video game won't make you a pro, but this game does force you turn off any casual poker instincts you might have and learn to play competitively.Whether you want to put in the hours to fully beat the game or just take part in an occasional AI tourney, this game is worth picking up, particularly if you're patient enough to wait for it go on sale. I played here and there initially, then more obsessively as the tournaments got bigger. Definitely worth whatever beans I traded for the bundle it was in.. Honestly, this game is severely underrated. It came out in 2009, has never had a single sale (and probably never will), and fell quickly into obscurity. It's quite sad, as it's a really solid rhythm game with some great music. It's a shorter game, clocking in at less than 10 hours to 100%. There fifteen levels that get more and more challenging as you progress to a point where you'll be needing to use the Autopilot powerup for any chance at the diamond gruv (three per level; silver one is for simply finishing it, gold one is for a little challenge that you can usually do first try, diamond one is a bit harder and sometimes takes a lot more tries to get)Check this game out. It's a couple dollars cheaper on Amazon if you really can't be bothered to spend the $10.You can even get a free second 100% if you download the demo and import your full game files. (see AStats full game guide for the demo for a tutorial on the process)I'm literally like the first person to play this game in two years. Please join me, this game's quite good I think.solid 7\/10. IT MAKES ME ANGRY BUT IT IS WORTH IT FOR THE MASSIVE HAPPY YOU GET AT THE END!. i love losing. Fantastic game! Very addicting.. This game is nothing like the first one. Not just the graphics! There is no atmosphere, vague hints (if at all) of what needs to be done to advance, running endless empty hallways from one place to another...In short, a generic, boring game with the HeXen name on it.. A Trials HD game with monster trucks. Oh yeah!. This game is cute. It's a puzzle game with very bright and pleasing graphics. Nothing too intense, but colorful and vibrant. Basically during each level, you find things to feed Maw. Different creatures provide different effects and you need to find your way out of the level. The controls were a little quirky when trying to jump, but all in a all a fun game worth the dollar or so I paid.. Greetings Everyone! It’s time for round 2! Specifically the game “On a Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two” which is the sequel to well…the first one and you are here to read a review. So what do we have here? Eh, the continuation of an RPG that comes straight from Penny Arcade, which should be enough to buy it immediately, but is the game itself good?Home Wrecker: The game starts off more or less the same way it begun previously and in most games that might be annoying but I found it humorous at least. This is much like the rest of the game, more of the same. If you liked the original you will enjoy this and probably don’t need to read this review to begin with.Call Me Kratos: The game seems to have learned a bit from the original, it keeps the graphics and sound effects but the enemies are a bit more dynamic (though the bosses can be a bit easier) and the abilities you unlock are interesting as well. You ultimately get part two of the first game polished a bit with additional options and some interesting storyline. You aren’t going to have jaw dropping inspiring events but you may find a perpetual smirk on your face as you are murdering millionaires or baking pies.Die Robots: One annoyance of the game is that there seems to be a lot more ‘back in forth’ by that I mean that you are required to go back and forth between zones to accomplish stuff, I do not know if this was to pad game time (doubtful as the game is short unashamedly) or just a design that wasn’t thought through thoroughly. You also get more of the same as far as targeting issues and I did notice that the game’s enemies seem to heal a lot more, this never caused severe issues but I did find it annoying from time to time. This isn’t an epic 99 hour RPG but it is an enjoyable tromp down memory lane and an interesting story told from one of my favorite comic strips. If you don’t already have this game you really should grab it if you are a fan of parody, RPGs or Penny Arcade. But, while you decide I’m going to start into the third game, enjoy!. Very funny, neat mechanics, not much to think about in it. A love-letter to RPG's, it's worth putting a few hours into the first and second episodes. The third calls for more investment, but the last one wouldn't keep my attention.
